Our Modification Process

The real beauty of a Florez & Florez home design is just how easy it is to modify. Through computer automated drafting, adding windows, widening decks, personalizing plans to meet your particular needs can be made with ease, and without the cost going through the roof. Our modification design professionals will work with you “hands on” to assure your complete and utter satisfaction.

For your convenience, we’ve outlined the process that will take you step-by-step, through modifying your Florez & Florez home and have provided a pricing example for clarity. We’ll be happy to assist you in any way that we can to make the modification process easy for you.

Step One...
Begins with a phone call fax or email. If you’ve selected a design, simply give us a call and speak with one of our modification specialists. They will review your change requests in a timely manner to ascertain the feasibility of those changes, and discuss the initial process, answering any questions that you may have at that time. Once we’ve determined those needs, we will promptly determine the cost, respond via phone, fax, email or mailed with a quote for your modification.

Step Two...
Upon your acceptance of our quote, we’ll send out our standard acceptance contract that outlines your modifications. Florez & Florez requires a 50% retainer upon acceptance of the contract terms, with the balance due prior to the shipping of the final plans. Upon receipt of your signed contract and retainer, a design and drafting schedule will be initiated, with completion of final drawings usually taking 3 to 4 weeks.

Step Three...
Modifications begin, with our designers going to work, determining the best modification solution that fits your needs. Often, their insights will help resolve complications and flow problems, rendering a superior finished product far exceeding customer expectations. When all proposed changes to elevations or floor plans are faxed, mailed or emailed, modifications will be made available for your consideration, and ultimately, your approval.

Step Four...
Almost Home. Upon your approval, the accepted modifications are reviewed for accuracy, plotted, printed and shipped to you; second day or overnight, upon your request. After an adequate period for delivery, your modification design specialist will contact you to follow-up, making sure your plans were received and executed to your complete satisfaction.
